Lobelia, Crystal Palace

Lobelia is a short, partial-shade annual that blooms continuously from March through the first frost. I’ve planted it on the shade side of my house as a border between the taller coneflowers and foxglove, and intermixed with some of the “Carpet of Snow” Alyssum, and the showy “feature’ annuals like moss rose and snapdragons.

My notes

Planted: Seed in ground, 1March09. First signs of sprouting on 8March.
