A Carpetbagging Yankee Tries To Grow Things in South Central Texas
I’m growing a Cayenne pepper plant in a container. I wasn’t aware that these guys got this big.
They're at least six inches long! And the plant's only six inches tall!
Next year I’m going to have to plan this a little better and snip the flowers until the plant gets a bit bigger…
Great looking peppers. One of my all time favorite peppers. I eat them fresh and green though most people dry them and grind them into flakes. I have seen them get this long before but not mine. Mine always seem to stop around 3 inches or so.
